Privacy policy

Who the controller is

Colorme is the controller of the personal data processed in the service. For anything privacy-related — including reaching our data protection officer — write to help@colorme.cc.

Data we collect

We only collect what it takes to deliver your analysis:

• Account: your name, email and preferred language.
• Selfie: the photo you upload for the analysis and, if you change it, your profile picture.
• Quiz answers: eye color, hair, skin tone, veins, reaction to the sun and jewelry preference.
• Result: the palettes identified for you and the match percentage of each one.
• Purchase: the payment confirmation sent by the platform that processes the sale. We never receive or store your card details.
• Usage: technical access and page performance data, in aggregate form.

How we use your data

Your data is used to:

• Generate your color analysis and build your palette.
• Create and maintain your account and authenticate you with the code sent by email.
• Send the service emails: access code, result and confirmations.
• Unlock the full guide once the purchase is confirmed.
• Understand how the site is used and improve the product.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to your requests.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, we do not use your selfie to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not build advertising profiles from what you tell us.

Legal bases

Your account data, answers and result are processed to perform the contract you enter into by using the service (LGPD art. 7, V). Uploading and analyzing your selfie rely on your consent (art. 7, I), given when you send the photo and withdrawable at any time. Usage and security data rely on legitimate interest (art. 7, IX), and tax records on a legal obligation (art. 7, II).

Your selfie

The selfie is the most sensitive thing you hand us, and it exists for one reason: to analyze your skin undertone, your contrast, your eyes and your hair.

To do that, the photo is sent to our artificial intelligence provider, which returns the analysis and does not use it to train models. The image is kept in restricted-access storage, tied to your account, so you can revisit your result later.

You can replace the photo from your profile at any time, or request account deletion to remove it for good.

Who we share it with

We only share data with providers that run parts of the service on our behalf, and only what each function requires:

• Artificial intelligence provider — analyzes the selfie and the quiz answers.
• Hosting and storage — keeps the site, the database and the images running.
• Email service — delivers the access code and the other service emails.
• Payment platform — processes the purchase of the full guide.
• Bot protection and audience measurement — protects the forms and measures page performance.

International transfers

Some of those providers are located outside Brazil, mainly in the United States. In those cases, the transfer happens under the safeguards set out in the LGPD and stays limited to the purposes in this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Access codes expire within minutes and are invalidated on first use. After a deletion request, we erase your account, your analyses and your photo, keeping only what the law requires — such as purchase records for tax purposes.

Your rights

At any time, the LGPD gives you the right to:

• Know whether we process your data and get a copy of it.
• Correct incomplete or outdated data.
• Request the anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data.
• Request the portability of your data to another provider.
• Withdraw your consent and revoke the processing based on it.
• Object to a processing activity and ask for a review of automated decisions.

How to exercise your rights

Write to help@colorme.cc telling us what you need. We respond within 15 days, and we may ask for extra information only to confirm that the request is really yours.

How to delete your account

Open your profile and use the "Delete my account" option. The request reaches us, the deletion is processed, and you get the confirmation by email.

Cookies and measurement

We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language. We also measure page usage and performance in aggregate, without building advertising profiles and without tracking you across other sites.

Security

Sign-in uses a single-use code sent to your email, traffic is encrypted and access to images is restricted. No system is 100% secure, but if a significant incident involving your data happens, we will notify you and the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD).

Children and teenagers

Colorme is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from that age group. If it happens, we delete the data as soon as we find out.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top always points to the version in force, and significant changes are announced by email.
